  1. Congrats on being “Freshly Pressed” and thanks for posting the pretty and fun pics from around Prague. If you’re still there, check out the natural history museum… there used to be an ENTIRE whale skeleton suspended from the ceiling. To walk beneath it is a bit disorienting but fun. If you hit the castle pay the extra few dollars to take the “Behind the Scenes” tour.

  2. Hej from Sweden,

I have been to Prague and it was really great to see such beautiful photos of the city.

  4. I’ve never heard about how great Prague is before, and thanks to the post! Now I know it is a beautiful city and has such a lot of historical buildings ( I mean like the castle-look-alike building) :)

  5. Those Kabobs look delicious! Really like the clock, which looked to be on a tower. Great pics, must have been a great trip!

  6. You took a picture of that one guy just because of his short shorts didn’t you?!?!? lol awesome pics, looks like you had a great time! :)

  7. How beautiful, it is simply stunning! Not to mention all the history behind the beautiful buildings. I would go completely crazy if I could so I could learn the history. I’m such a history crazy!

  8. Thank you for reminding me of my business years in Prague. I used to work for years in one of the buildings next to the Old Town Square in your pictures. What an experience that was! It took me about a week to be able to find my way around the basement, floors and the attic. I loved it. They said the building had the oldest still-standing door in the whole city. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

  10. My favorite photo is of the horse. Very nicely taking. May I ask what type of camera do you use and lenses? I also notice most of the shot was around the castle (I think a castle or church). What is the significant of that structure and the name? Thanks

  11. Aw, you make me miss Prague so much! Enjoy your stay in the Czech Republic. It’s a beautiful country. I recommend a day in Czeky Krumlov if you can make it over there. I had my best breakfast there, haha :o)

  12. Congrats! I love Prague! definitely my favorite city of the world so far. ive been to czech 6 month out of the last year and a half and i love it! are you visiting there?

  13. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever visited. I love these photos! Thank you for posting them for all to see. I am glad you got to see it when you are so young. I was about your age when I went as well — I’m fairly certain that it was under far different circumstances, but it was a blast all the same! :-)

  14. Aw, this makes me want to visit Prague during the summer. I went during the winter years ago and it was cloudy and rainy. I’d love to capture it in the sun. Great photos!

  15. Wow! These photos are amazing! I’ve never been to Europe, but I have traveled across America 6 times back and forth, and I do dream of doing the same with Europe. Is this youre first time in Europe?

  16. Sometimes, I like blogs with no words. Images tell so many things all by themselves. Great blog. The guy in the shorts with the girls shirt on makes me wish for simpler days.

  17. Yes, we were in Prague last year for 5 days (and 2 days in Cesky Krumlov, a UNESCO designated heritage site). Just dizzying the range and depth of architecture over the centuries packed in that city.

We went into one of Prague’s cathedrals..which some photos are here: http://cyclewriteblog.wordpress.com/2010/07/17/stained-glass-art-%e2%80%93-a-european-sampler-of-refracted-light-and-colour/

Reminds to get around to doing more blog posts of Prague’s architecture….we took tons and I went to museums.

  18. Love the photos, never been there but its on the list of places to visit, beautiful photos, looks like a lot of fun
