I just got back from a leadership retreat with a college organization called The Refuge. They are a non-denominational group that just wants to share the gospel on LSU’s campus. It is awesome to hear their heart for the campus and even bigger, the world. They want to fulfill the Great Commission Christ has given us. Go out and make disciples of all people groups. I am so encouraged by their plan for the semester and cannot wait to see what God has in store.

This song sung by Joy Williams is one of my favorite worship songs.  It is so relevant in my life. I have no better description than hungry to describe my desire for God. I am hungry for his Word. I am hungry for his will. I am hungry for his guidance in my life. Matthew says it perfectly in this verse:

God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied. -Matthew 5:6

Hungry I come to You
For I know You satisfy

I am empty but I know
Your love does not run dry

So I wait for You
So I wait for You

I’m falling on my knees
Offering all my needs

Jesus You’re all
This heart is living for

Broken I run to You
For Your arms are open wide

I am weary but I know Your touch
Restores my life

So I wait for You
So I wait for You

{You can find this song on youtube. I recommend you taking the time to listen to it. It is such a powerful worship song. My favorite version is Rachel Milstead of Vineyard Worship}
